Baby #2

As of February 28, 2012- Big M and I did *the* test! It's official, the stick said "Yes-you are expecting baby #2 or "Unit 2" (geek reference to Evangelion Anime). We were casually trying off and on. We honestly didn't want to have Unit 2 same month as Lil' M's birthday! Low and behold-we conceived sometime in end of January and per BabyCenter's Due Date Calculator, Unit 2, will be due 2 days after Lil' M's birthday! Arrgh. Yeah-pretty smart to be casual about in February :). Oh well, life means uncontrolled situations may occur. We'll take a happy/healthy baby that'll have a birthday closer to it's sibling over nothing.


It's almost a month since we found out. This time around, it seems that my appetite is much bigger and I'm not exactly grossed out by the things I used to be (e.g. white rice and ESPECIaLLY meat). I wouldn't say I have morning sickness (which differs from last time) because yeah I get gaggy w/awful smells, but I'm just more gassy. Very gassy. If I was home and not working, I'd be burping my ass away.


My first OBGYN appointment is this Friday and I'm nervous. I'm nervous about the dredded lab tests and getting GD again. I'm not sure if they'll find out so soon. But-that's what I'm dredding. I'm trying to eat better, but dangit the carbs are calling me and I'm so hungry. I hope I don't get grossed out by meat in latter months. That's why I'm training myself to eat more protein while I do like food. I'm going to bring Lil' M with me to the appointment. This time Big M can't come due to work. I have never brought Lil' M to my Dr. appointments-so this'll be interesting.
